Tweed Coast Yoga
A small, friendly studio with teachers that care about you.
We can all do yoga. Just by conscious breathing, bringing focus and awareness into your movements combined with poses that help stretch and strengthen your body, and calm your mind.
Our aim is to provide a comfortable, supportive environment for students to learn and practise yoga. We practise physically to release stagnation and dullness and re-energise our bodies. We practise mentally through breath work, awareness and focus to promote an open and clear mind.
Everyone is welcome here. We will offer modifications to help for injuries or beginners and also to those wishing to extend their practise. Our team of teachers are passionate about helping you be the best version of yourself, through yoga philosophy and movement.
Our classes are Hatha style yoga – static, slow postures with breathing and alignment, (standing, balancing and seated). Building strength and range of motion.
Yin yoga – slower, floor based, meditative and longer held, with the aim to go deeper within body and mind.
We have mats at the studio that you can use if you don’t have your own, although we do encourage you to bring your own mat and props if possible.
Quite often the hardest part is to just show up, but it is well worth the effort to do so.
